Sometimes parts of documents are missing, or the quality of the scanned images is poor. In such cases you can use XBOUND Rescan to rescan documents at your PC to replace the images in XBOUND.
XBOUND Rescan is not a stand-alone application. You start it from within XBOUND applications, for example XBOUND Document Verifier, by clicking special buttons for rescanning.

Tip: When designing an XBOUND process, consider that interrupting the usual tasks done in Document Verifier to rescan documents can be inconvenient. To get around this, you can set up the process so that rescanning is done in a separate Verify Documents process step:
In the first Verify Documents step, the verifier sets a rescan flag by selecting the image and clicking the button (
).
In the second Verify Documents step, the verifier finds images with rescan flags by clicking
the button (
). This step is filtered so that it processes only documents with images needing to be rescanned. Filtering is described in Processing documents and media that meet specified criteria.
