This topic describes changes in the SignDoc SDK behavior since the previous release.
Certificate chain
After successful verification of the certificate chains, the complete certification chain is returned in the correct order by following functions:
- de.softpro.doc.SignDocVerificationResult.getCertificates()
- de.softpro.doc.SignDocVerificationResult.getTimeStampCertificates()
Impact of non-increasing time channel
If the time channel is present and becomes non-increasing, a failure occurs for the following function:
- de.softpro.doc.SignDocSignatureData.addSample()
Handling of indexed 4-BPP images
Instead of rejecting indexed 4-BPP (bits per pixel) images, they are converted to 8-BPP images by de.softpro.doc.SignDocImage.
