SignDoc Standard
This topic describes changes in the SignDoc Standard behavior since the previous release.
Distribution of signed documents
Sending individual signed documents in the final email is now the default selection.
Signing Client UI styling updates
- SignDoc Signing Client UI:
A pulsating Done button on the Document view page indicates that all necessary form fields are completed to provide clearer feedback to users on the next action to be performed.
The color of disabled buttons is changed from light blue to grey to provide a more intuitive user experience.
The type and color of the Next button on mobile devices is changed.
Parts of the signing method selection dialog are no longer hidden by the Signing Client header.
- Review & Sign page:
The design for signing and supplemental documents is changed. Documents are no longer reordered after actions are taken to make it easier for the user to identify open tasks.
The button label on already signed documents now shows "review" to indicate the document no longer needs to be signed.
The download icon is changed to a button.
The color of the progress bar is changed to green for better visibility.
Buttons are enlarged generally for ease of use.
- Mobile devices:
The buttons displayed on mobile devices are enlarged as well as the drop down caret and the icons when supplemental documents are requested.
Styling of email templates
The default mail templates appear with a new styling.
Closing browser tabs
Before the user leaves a page during the signing process, the browser displays a confirmation message to prevent an unintended interruption to the process. The confirmation message also appears when a browser tab is closed or refreshed, or the user navigates to another URL (either by manually entering the URL in the browser, or by using the back button).
Color management of interactive fields
To improve recognition, interactive fields retain the color overlay after they are filled in. This change does not apply when the photo image signing method is used for signature fields.
GuideMe marker
The GuideMe marker now leads signers through all interactive fields, not just mandatory fields.
Create a copy of an expired package
When an expired package or template is copied to create a new package, an expiration date is no longer set for the new package.
Extension .pdf replaces original file extension
When adding documents to a signing package using REST, the file name extension is automatically replaced with .pdf. For example, abc.pdf would replace a file named abc.cde.
Setting the order of signers
Creating signing packages with an invalid signing sequence for signers is no longer supported i.e, giving a signer order greater than the total number of signers, or assigning a duplicate signer order, or assigning a signer order less than 1 is no longer supported via REST calls.
Display default configuration values for settings
The default value of configuration settings is now displayed below the description text.
Changed response code
The response code for cirrus.signer.not.part.of.signingpackage is changed from 401 to 400.
SignDoc multi-tenant default configuration
The SignDoc multi-tenant support now works by default.
DNS label configuration
SignDoc Standard now supports to use full domain names for the DNS label configuration setting. This enables the customer to use a completely customized domain.
