Using the mobile app on your iOS or Android device, you can stay informed about pending tasks, receive notifications, and the signing packages' completion status. You can also start the process to review or sign documents directly from the app. To use the app, the SignDoc Standard server must be configured to send notifications to registered mobile devices. App users must register for the app service with an email address. To learn more, see the SignDoc Assistant App Help.

Integration with Digital Signing Service of GlobalSign

SignDoc Standard added support for AATL certificates provided via the Digital Signing Service of GlobalSign. The plugin.enabled.GlobalSignDigitalSigningHandler setting specifies whether the cloud-based service should be used. When configuring the service, you can define the PAdES baseline conformance level.

Distribution of completed documents

It is now possible to provide individual documents as attachments in the final email instead of the previous method of combining them within a single document. A configuration setting for the account is introduced. When this distribution option is used, the Audit trail combines all actions on documents and the information about the signing package life cycle in one document. Additionally, an option is added to specify whether sent documents (individual or combined) should be provided in a compressed form.

Third-party localization

SignDoc Standard provides the ability to localize user-visible content and to add the additional languages through configuration. The configuration of any custom languages enables the use of SignDoc Standard with languages that are not delivered with the product. The new settings cirrus.general.localization.client.signing, cirrus.general.localization.client.manage, and cirrus.general.localization.audittrail allow download and upload of language files. Full and partial localization is supported.

Localized Audit trail

SignDoc Standard has added support for language-specific Audit trails. The product is extended with a new setting cirrus.general.audittrail.locale to define the language to be used for the Audit trail. The new language attribute must be an IETF BCP 47 language tag string, defined in RFC 5646 "Tags for Identifying Languages."

Statistical reports on package activities

Statistical reports are visible for SignDoc administrators in the new "Statistics" page, which provides information about activities on signing packages. The reports are generated for all or for a specific account and for a definable time period. The data is also available via the new REST API Get statistics data rest/v8/statistics.

Document export using PackageArchiver

The new PackageArchiver plugin and source code provided with SignDoc support the ability to export signing package information and documents. You can use the source code as a starting point for custom implementations.

Enable sending notifications to SignDoc Assistant App

The cirrus.general.enable.assistant.app.notification setting defines whether notifications should be sent to mobile devices associated with registered email addresses.

Customized logger configuration

Default log levels defined by signdoc.logger.level can be overwritten with customized log levels for specified loggers. This configuration option is available in the Administration Center.

Support for Azure SQL database

Azure SQL is now supported for SignDoc Standard.
