When a signer accidentally closes the browser tab of his signing session or navigates to another URL before he has finished, a native, browser-specific confirmation dialog is displayed, asking if the signer wants to leave the current page.

The confirmation dialog is not supported in all browsers the same way:

• Google Chrome

  The confirmation is only triggered when the user has interacted with the page before.

• Microsoft Edge

  The confirmation is only triggered when the user has interacted with the page before.

• Mozilla Firefox

  The behavior can be configured with about:config.
