Import Connector and Document conversion enhancements

Import documents from external sources more easily and convert file formats automatically, so teams can work with content types from more sources and get automation projects up and running quickly.

Import Connector enhancements

This topic describes the enhancements to the Import Connector.

Vertical scaling for input sources

TotalAgility supports optimized scaling of input sources for a multi-tenant Import Connector.

Scalability: Enables vertical scaling of input sources without scaling out the entire TotalAgility Core Worker cloud service.
Performance: Ensures large tenants can vertically scale ingestion input sources.
Consistency: Ensures that smaller tenants maintain their throughput and address the requirements of larger tenants that require higher throughput.

The following options are added to configure vertical scaling.

In the Tenant Management System:
- Maximum Ingest threads: The maximum ingest threads allowed for a tenant. This limit defines the maximum concurrent polls allowed for an import source in the Import connection in TotalAgility Designer.
- Override Maximum Ingest threads: Overrides the maximum ingest threads allowed for a tenant.
In TotalAgility Designer:
- Max concurrent polls: The maximum number of concurrent polls allowed.

Audit log entries

Audit logs provide information about activities such as creating, editing, and deleting, performed on import connections, import sources, and Message Connector. The details, such as the name of the import connection, the activity performed, and the user who performed the activity, are recorded. A log is generated for each activity.

New options for the 'Body with message header' function

New options are available in the "Body with message header" function in the Advanced section of an import source to include the message header of email and embedded emails as PDF or EML.

The KFXConverter settings for document conversion profiles in TotalAgility Designer are enhanced with a new section, ANY2PDF, and additional parameters in certain sections. See the following table for details.
