Install Message Connector on a cluster

For Message Connector, there are two possible options to install message Connector on a cluster:

• Entire Message Connector installed on the shared disk (recommended). See In shared application mode.

• Only Message Connector storage installed on the shared disk. See In shared storage mode.

Prerequisite

• Windows failover cluster is installed and configured.

  A shared disk with 1 GB or more is specifically available for the Message Connector. The shared disk is explicitly owned by the Message Connector and is not available for other applications.

• Third-party applications needed for document conversion, such as Microsoft Office, Apache OpenOffice, LibreOffice or TotalHtml are installed on all cluster nodes to the same local path.
