The Template Wizard dialog

ClosedTo access this dialog:

  1. Using the XBOUND Management Center, open a console containing the Process Designer.

  2. Under Process Navigation, right-click a process and select Create template.

Alternatively:

  1. Using the XBOUND Management Center, open a console containing the Process Designer.

  2. Under Process Navigation, click the desired process.

  3. In the Process area, use your mouse to draw a box around the steps to be included.

    Alternatively, to exclude the process rules connecting the steps, use Ctrl to multi-select the process steps.

  4. Right-click any of the selected items and select Create template.

Alternatively:

  1. Using the XBOUND Management Center, open a console containing the Process Designer.

  2. Under Process Navigation, click the desired process.

  3. In the Process area, click Document Types:

  4. Click Create template (). The Create template dialog is displayed.

  5. Select the document types to include and click OK.

This dialog is used when:

First page of wizard

Save template in group

Select a group to save the template in.

Tip: Under this setting is a box where you can check which templates already exist in the different groups.

Tip: You can create new groups and move templates between them afterward.

Template name

Type a name for the template.

Template description

Optional: Type a description to help you remember details. The description is displayed when you point to a template with the cursor.

Tip: To edit a description, right-click a template and select Change description.

Second page of wizard

If the following are found, the wizard prompts you to select whether to include them:

This step is skipped if neither of those items is found. It is also skipped when an entire process is saved as a template (you right-clicked a process and selected Create template).

Third page of wizard

This is a confirmation page where you need only click Finish.
