This topic describes one way of using templates while configuring processes.
Use the below procedure to create a template based on an existing process.
The process does not need to contain any process steps. That means you can use this procedure as a way to copy rights, process design comments, or other items between processes.
Tip: Document types can be saved as separate templates. You can also create a template from a subset of process steps.
Using the XBOUND Management Center, open a console containing the Process Designer.
Type a name for the template.
Optional: Type a description to help you remember details. The description is displayed when you point to a template with the cursor.
Tip: To edit a description, right-click a template and select .
Select a group to save the template in.
Tip: You can create new groups and move templates between them afterward.
