Choose a favorite work breakdown structure

If you have marked any work breakdown structure as favorites, they are saved to the Favorite Work Breakdown Structure Codes list. This makes things much easier than manually typing in that work breakdown structure each time.

You can choose a favorite work breakdown structure by following these steps.

  1. Open a document and if it is not already selected, click on the Lines tab.
  2. Select a line item from the table by selecting its check box.

    The line and its values are displayed in the fields below the table.

  3. Click Choose WBS.

    The Work Breakdown Structure Code window is displayed.

  4. In the Select Work Breakdown Structure Code from lists group, select your code from the Favorite Work Breakdown Structure Codes list.
  5. Click Set WBS.

    The Work Breakdown Structure Code window closes and your selected work breakdown structure is displayed in the Work Breakdown Structure field.
