For a proper operation of the component with Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft Exchange Server MAPI Client and
CDO 1.2.1 (Collaboration Data Objects 1.2.1) should be installed on the machine.
There are the following restrictions in this case:
Microsoft Outlook 2010 does not support CDO.
When used on Windows 7, Windows 2008 R2 and Windows 8, CDO requires that Microsoft Outlook should not be installed.
With SMTP Server, Server name and From are mandatory fields.
Make sure that you provided valid values for each of these fields.
With Microsoft Exchange Server, Server name, Mailbox, User name,
Password, Domain, From,
and To are mandatory fields.
Make sure to enter valid values for each of these fields.
Send to Mail Recipient component does not validate email addresses.
When renaming schema is used with CDO-MAPI, all accounts, used in configuration of the component, should have the "Read"
permission for a temp folder (when service is running as LocalSystem, the temp folder is C:\Windows\Temp).
The component supports exchanging data through the following secure protocols:
Protocol
Note
SSL
All currently available modifications of the SSL protocol are supported by the component.
TLS
The following versions of TLS protocol are supported:
1.0
1.1
1.2
Before using secure connection over TLS 1.2 with a
Microsoft Exchange Web server, make sure that the update from Microsoft
described in the security advisory is installed on the host machine: Microsoft Security Advisory 2960358: Vulnerability in the
.NET Framework. Installing this update is required for supporting
TLS 1.2 with this server.

Search tips
The search returns topics that contain terms you enter. If you type more than one term, an OR is assumed, which returns topics where any of the terms are found. Enclose your search terms in quotes for exact-phrase matching.
The search also uses fuzzy matching to account for partial words (such as install and installs). The results appear in order of relevance, based on how many search terms occur per topic. Exact matches are highlighted.
To refine the search, you can use the following operators:
Type + in front of words that must be included in the search or - in front of words to exclude. (Example: user +shortcut –group finds shortcut and user shortcut, but not group or user group.)
Use * as a wildcard for missing characters. The wildcard can be used anywhere in a search term. (Example: inst* finds installation and instructions.)
Type title: at the beginning of the search phrase to look only for topic titles. (Example: title:configuration finds the topic titled “Changing the software configuration.”)
For multi-term searches, you can specify a priority for terms in your search. Follow the term with ^ and a positive number that indicates the weight given that term. A higher number indicates more weight. (Example: shortcut^10 group gives shortcut 10 times the weight as group.)
To use fuzzy searching to account for misspellings, follow the term with ~ and a positive number for the number of corrections to be made. (Example: port~1 matches fort, post, or potr, and other instances where one correction leads to a match.)
Note that operators cannot be used as search terms: + - * : ~ ^ ' "
