This release contains the following new features for Device Registration Service.

• Added feature to batch install tasks to help server performance and prevent DRS crashing.
• Implemented an automated service restart feature to restart DRS service daily or by specifying a date and time.
• Added support for the following card readers for Unified Client for Ricoh 1.3.0 or Ricoh PCC 5.3.0:

  With these additional SIM cards which can be easily inserted in the card readers to offer upgrades to HID Secure technologies:

  • KT-4FFSIM-SE (Ricoh EDP 953249) This is a Nano SAM Card which when inserted in RDR-80541AKU-RSOP EDP953246 upgrades the RSOP reader to HID iCLASS and SEOS.
  • KT-SIM-SE (Ricoh EDP 941831 ) This a SIM card which when inserted in RDR-805R1AKU-G3 + RDR-805R1AKU upgrades the reader to HID iClass®ID, SE and SEOS.
• Added Inepro Card Readers to Ricoh card reader selection in DRS for Ricoh Unified Client:
  • Inepro SCR 708 [1DA6/0110]
  • Inepro Spider [1DA6/0110]
• Added support for SQL Server 2022 and 2022 Express.
• Changed a verification step in the Install Assistant to check for Amazon Corretto 8 JRE 32 bit (x86) instead of Oracle 32 bits (i586) Java.
• Added a fix to leave the device card reader setting as-is, and not set the PID/VID, when one of the following card readers is selected:
  • Kofax Micro Card Reader [13AD:9CA5]
  • Kofax Equitrac ID Card Reader [13AD:9CA5]
• Added support for multiple DRS instances to work with one SQL HA.
