This topic lists enhancements introduced to the product in Tungsten Capture 11.2.0.
Rebranding
The product is newly renamed to Tungsten Capture to align with the Tungsten Automation brand. Tungsten Automation, the company that provides Tungsten Capture, was previously known as Kofax, Inc.
Auto refresh batch lists in the Open Batch dialog box
You can automatically refresh the batch lists displayed in the Open Batch dialog box, and specify how frequently to do so. For more information, refer to Open Batch Window in the Quality Control help.
Batch Description column added to Batch Manager
A new Description column is added to Batch Manager and the Open Batch dialog box so operations managers can quickly see batch details. For more information on adding descriptions, refer to Creating a Batch or Batch Properties Window - General Tab in the Batch Manager help.
View bar code values directly from Scan panel
Recognized bar code values can be displayed as a tooltip when you hover the cursor over a thumbnail on the Batch Contents panel in the Scan or Quality Control modules. For more information, refer to Bar Code and Patch Code Options in the Batch Manager help.
Recognize bar codes on every scanned or imported page
Bar codes can now be recognized on every page scanned or imported in the Scan or Quality Control modules, regardless of the document separation method or recognition profile selected. For more information, refer to the Always enable bar code recognition when scanning option in the Bar Code Recognition topic in the Administration help.
Override default values with sticky field values
When specifying both a default value and a sticky field value for index or batch fields, you can specify which value has priority. For more information, refer to Creating a Document Class in the Administration help.
Use new macros to capture scanner data
Two new Tungsten Capture Values macros are supported for batch fields, endorser strings, and index fields: {Scan Operator's Scanner Manufacturer} and {Scan Operator's Scanner Model}. For more information, refer to Tungsten Capture Values / Tungsten Values in the Tungsten Capture Administrator's Guide.
View and edit batch filter profiles created by other users
A new permission is added to the User Profile window, allowing users to view and edit the batch filter profiles created by other users. For more information, refer to Step 2t in Adding a User Profile in the Administration help.
Add a comment to suspended batches
When you suspend a batch, you can provide additional context by entering a comment. This comment is displayed in the History tab on the Batch Properties window. For more information, refer to Suspending a Batch in the Quality Control help. This feature is also available in the Scan, Validation, and Verification modules.
Character limits increased for property names
The names of the following properties now support up to 255 characters:

Form type name
Save batch images to a ZIP file
You can save batch images to a ZIP file. To enable this feature for one or more users, you must select the Allow download of batch images option when creating a user profile or group profile. For more information, refer to Adding a User Profile or Adding a Group Profile in the Administration help.
UTC time zone offset added to Statistics tables
A new TimeZone column is added to the following statistics tables to provide UTC time zone offsets:

Filter batches based on their error messages
Filter batches based on their error messages by selecting the error message filtering criteria in the Filter Batches panel. For more information, refer to List of Batches in the Batch Manager help.
Monitor unrejected batches as they are reprocessed
Use the Reprocessed on error option in the Filter Batches panel to monitor unrejected batches as they are reprocessed, even if they are no longer in an error state. For more information, refer to Unrejecting Selected Batches in the Batch Manager help.
Suspend a batch if required fields are empty or invalid
Validation and Verification operators can now suspend a batch even when the required fields are empty or contain an invalid value. For more information, refer to Suspending a Batch in the Validation help. This feature is also available in the Verification module.
Support for Group Managed Service Accounts (gMSA)
Service accounts can be searched for and linked with Tungsten Capture when installing or configuring a Tungsten Capture Service.
