Suspending a Batch

You can suspend a batch before processing is completed. This postpones the processing of the batch without sending it to the next module in the queue.

Validation and verification operators have the option to suspend a batch even when required fields are empty or contain an invalid value. For details, see Allow invalid fields.

You can open and process other batches while the current batch is suspended.

  1. On the Home tab, in the Batch group, click Suspend.
  2. Optional. Use the Comment for Suspension field to enter a comment that displays in the Batch Properties Window - History Tab.
  3. Click Yes to suspend the batch, or No to cancel the suspension.

To resume processing, open the batch.
