Uninstall Contract Manager

This section describes how you can use RemoveContractManager.exe to uninstall the Contract Manager.

Overview

RemoveContractManager.exe is a command-line tool intended to remove a stopped Contract Manager from the server.

This tool resides in: <deploy root>\KCM\Programs\<version>\Management\Uninstall.

The tool works as follows:

  1. It removes all Windows services, installation files and registry entries of the Contract Manager. The other KCM components on this server (if any) will not be affected.
  2. If there are no other components than the Contract Manager, then the entire KCM installation will be removed.

Before you start

Before running the tool, make sure that the following prerequisites are met:

  • The Contract Manager has been stopped, otherwise RemoveContractManager will not proceed.
  • The account used to run RemoveContractManager.exe is included in the local Administrators group on the target server.
