Aspects tab
Use this tab to manage content based on Alfresco Aspects, which is compatible with the CMIS standard. Aspects give you the ability to add functionality to existing content types.
- Name

- Table

To link values, select an item on the Aspects list to view the applicable CMIS document properties. A context menu button appears in the Kofax Mappings column. Click the button to display menu options for linking Kofax field values (such as Index fields, Batch fields, or Kofax Values) to CMIS properties for the selected aspect.
- CMIS Properties
-
This list contains properties associated with the aspect selected in the Aspects list. All properties defined for the selected aspect are listed, with these exceptions: CMIS system-generated properties, system-owned properties, and hidden properties. To link CMIS Properties to Kofax Mappings, select one aspect at a time until each one is linked.
Note the following:
-
Required properties are shown with an asterisk in front of their names (such as *Name). You must provide a Kofax field value for each required CMIS property.
- The Name property is used to specify a name for your document at export time.
-
If an aspect has the same name as a document, the aspect properties are updated, based on the document properties.
-
If an aspect name differs from the document name, the aspect name is used as the name of the exported document.
Note The data types of the linked Kofax field values must be compatible with CMIS data types. -
