General tab

Use this tab to set up a working folder to use as a temporary storage location at export time and to specify whether to skip the first page of each document.

Name
Enter a name for your export connector. This name is used to refer to the export connector in your Kofax application. This field is not required, but it may help to track export connectors if you are using the Kofax Capture Multiple Export feature. The maximum length is 32 characters.
Export Working Folder

Browse to the temporary storage location to copy document images at export time. (Alternatively, you can browse for the folder.) By default, the temporary storage location is C:\ProgramData\Kofax. If you are exporting from a different workstation, you can make the export working folder available to all workstations. One way to do this is to specify a Uniform Naming Convention (UNC) path for the export working folder.

After the file transfer is complete, all temporary files and folders are automatically deleted from the export working folder.

Note that if the folder does not exist at export setup, you are given the option to create the specified folder or select a different folder. However, if the folder does not exist at export time, the folder is automatically created.

Skip the first page of each document

Select the check box to discard the first page of each document. You may want to do this if you are using standalone separator sheets to separate documents. See Skip first page behavior for more information.

Note If you export only one image in a document and select the Skip first page of each document check box, the export fails and the document is routed to the Kofax Capture Quality Control module.
Convert date and time field values to UTC standard
Select this check box if you plan to export files to a document repository that requires date and time values to be converted to the UTC standard.
