Use this tab to specify the desired image format for exporting your images.

Name

Enter a name for your export connector. This name is used to refer to the export connector in your Kofax application. This field is not required, but it may help to track export connectors if you are using the Kofax Capture Multiple Export feature. The maximum length is 32 characters.

Export Image As

Sets the file format / compression format combinations to use for your images. The images are exported and imported into the CMIS object store. The default image type is Multipage TIFF – LZW Compression.

For Kofax PDF / Kofax Capture: To export Kofax PDF documents, you must select Kofax PDF generation in your applicable document class and add the Kofax PDF Generator module to the applicable batch class. Otherwise, the Kofax PDF documents are not exported. For eDocuments, the Allow import of eDocument files feature must be enabled from the Batch Class Properties Advanced tab in Kofax Capture.

For Kofax PDF / Kofax Express: To export Kofax PDF documents, you must select PDF - Portable Document Format in the Export settings for the job.

Export OCR full text file with document

This option is supported for use only with Kofax Capture.

Exports your documents with the OCR text data into the CMIS repository. Note the following:

• If this option is selected and you are not exporting an OCR text file, export fails and the document is routed to the Kofax Capture Quality Control module.

• If this option is not selected, the export connector ignores the OCR Full Text module (if specified) and submits the documents into the CMIS repository.

Note To export OCR text files, you must select Kofax Capture OCR full text processing in your applicable document class and add the OCR Full Text module to your applicable batch class.
