Cluster Management window
Use this window to manage the Search and Matching Servers that are used within a cluster for the Load Balancer. The databases and their settings that are configured for the primary cluster node are synchronized to all Kofax Search and Matching Servers that are added as secondary client nodes.
- Cluster Nodes
-
Lists the Search and Matching Servers that are added as nodes to the current Load Balancer. By default, the first server added to the cluster is set as the primary node.
In addition to the common buttons, the following button is provided at the bottom of the window:
- Refresh
-
Refreshes the Cluster Nodes' list in order to display the servers that are already added to the Load Balancer as cluster nodes.
- Add
-
Adds a standalone Search and Matching Server as node to the current Load Balancer. The databases and their settings that are configured for the primary node are then synchronized to the other Search and Matching Servers that are added as secondary client nodes.
All existing databases are removed from a server that is added as a cluster node. A confirmation message is displayed so that databases are not removed from a server by accident by adding it to the Load Balancer.
- Remove
-
Removes the selected server from the Load Balancer and converts it automatically to become a standalone server.
- Set to Master
-
Sets the selected server as a primary cluster node that is used to synchronize all secondary client cluster servers to it.
