The Address Evaluator takes the results from several locators and compares those results to records in a database. If the locator values match the records in the database, the Address Evaluator returns matching records.

Configure separate format locators to locate:

• Zip Code (mandatory)

• City (mandatory)

• Street

• State/Region

The Address Evaluator is similar to the Database Evaluator, but checks the position of address fields. Validations are run based on the position of the fields. For example, the "Zip Code" needs to be beneath the "City."

The Address Evaluator compares the extracted values to records in the database to ensure that they match, and returns confident results if they do.
