Remove a tab from a custom validation form
If a tab is no longer needed, it can be removed.
Deleting a tab removes all fields and customization located on that tab from the project. Consider moving the fields off the unwanted tab before deletion.
You can remove a tab from your validation form by following these steps:
- In the Project Tree, locate the class with the validation form to update.
-
On the
Design tab, in the
Validation Forms group, click
Customize.
If you configured the project for more than one Validation step, select Step <n> from the submenu, where <n> is the number of the step whose validation form you are customizing.
The Validation Form Layout window displays the form in a standard layout if you are defining the form for the first time, or your customized form.
- Select the tab you are deleting.
- Click Delete Active Tab from the toolbar to delete the currently selected tab and all validation form elements contained on that tab.
-
When you are finished, on the Windows menu, click
Close.
The Validation Form Layout window is closed and your changes are saved.
