Edit a batch

During Validation, the batch content is displayed as a tree. The batch tree can be used for navigation purposes. To edit the batch in order to manage the documents, folders, and batch structure you have to switch to Edit Batch mode.

The Edit Batch mode may be disabled for a batch by your solution integrator.

You can then delete or merge documents, create a folder for a document, apply auto-foldering, or move a page from one document to another. You can drag-and-drop only single selections; other operations are available for multi-selected objects at a time.

Almost all editing functions that change a document are disabled for PDF documents. Therefore, you cannot delete pages, split a PDF document, or merge two PDF documents. However, you can rotate pages and reject, move, delete, or add sticky notes to PDF documents.

You can edit a batch by selecting Edit Batch from the Batch menu, or by clicking Edit Batch on the toolbar.

For the Edit Batch mode the user interface changes in order to display the batch tree and the Document Viewer only.

The following batch operations are provided for pages, documents and folders. You can select multiple pages, documents and folders and use drag-and-drop functionality to perform some of the batch editing operations.
