Remove a Configuration Set

If you no longer need a configuration set, you can remove it. Removing the set also deletes the configuration set file when you save the project.

The following configuration sets cannot be removed:

  • The default configuration set.

  • The configuration set in use by the project.

Note If you delete the configuration set file from the file system while Project Builder is open, the configuration set still appears in the Edit Configuration Sets window until the project is reloaded.

You can remove a configuration set by following these steps:

  1. On the Ribbon Project tab, in the Configuration Sets group, click Edit Configuration Sets.

    The Edit Configuration Sets window appears.

  2. Select the configuration set you want to remove.
  3. Click Delete.
  4. Click OK to accept your changes and close the Edit Configuration Sets window.
  5. Save the changes to your project.
