The Customize form manipulation dialog

ClosedTo access this dialog:

  1. Using the XBOUND Management Center, open a console containing the Validation Designer. (For information about working with consoles, see XBOUND Help.)
  2. Under Process Navigation, select a process.
  3. Click the Check out button ().

  4. Select File > Open.
  5. In the Open business rule group or form dialog, select a form to open and click OK.
  6. Select File > Form Manipulation.

Use these settings when adding conditions that affect the appearance of forms at runtime. Changes made here are visible to Verification users in the Details dialog.

Controls

Define groups of controls to be modified.

Apply

Applies changes and closes the dialog.

(Discard)

Discards all changes and closes the dialog.

Add

Opens the Choose controls dialog, where you create a new group of controls.

(Edit)

Edits the selected control group.

(Delete)

Deletes the selected control group.

Filter box

Filters the displayed data by what you type. The search includes modifications and conditions of all control groups.

Control modifications

Define properties to change for the selected control group. Different modifications for matching and non-matching conditions can be defined.

Add

Opens the Add or edit action dialog, where you can add modifications for the selected control group.

(Edit)

Edits the currently selected modification.

(Delete)

Deletes the currently selected modification.

Conditions

Define when modifications are to be applied to all controls of the current control group.

Add

Opens the Add or edit condition dialog, where you define conditions for modifications.

Connect

Connects a new condition or an existing condition. Opens the Add or edit condition dialog. By default the new condition is connected with the AND operator. The operator can be changed later by clicking the or buttons.

(Edit)

Opens the Add or edit condition dialog, where you can edit the selected condition.

Alternatively, if <And> or <Or> was selected, the Select operator dialog is displayed.

(Delete)

Deletes a condition.

Changes the selected operator to an AND operator.

Change the selected operator to an OR operator.
