Depending on the settings of your production task, the system may prompt you for manual classification if:
It finds a document specification match, but the require a more exact match. settings
It finds two or more document specification matches, but the program cannot determine which one is correct and cannot classify the document automatically.
It cannot find any suitable document specification match.
Inspect's default view layout during manual classification:
In the Thumbnail view, select a document that needs to be confirmed (yellow background) or manually classified (red background).
If there are document classification guesses, the individual classifier results are displayed in the Document view.
In the , the closest matching document specification is preselected, and the is displayed if any possible guesses exist.
If the program preselected the correct document, click
.To view the classifier results for another classification guess, select the appropriate specification in the . Alternatively, if you have a long list of specifications, you can use shortcuts and quick search for quicker manual classification.
If this is the correct document, click

When all documents are correctly classified, a

Sometimes a document cannot be classified correctly because of faulty document separation. In such cases, you must separate pages manually before they can be classified.
Document specifications can be sometimes be used to group together several similar specifications but should not be used during manual classification. If parent document, you cannot classify a document as this type. Example:
