When FORMS is run only on a single workstation, its databases rarely fail. If an abnormal situation occurs, make a note of all error messages and codes, as well as the situation that preceded the problem, and then try the following steps:
Exit all FORMS modules. Then restart them one by one, noting any error messages.
Exit all FORMS modules. Delete all log files from the Log directory. Unlock any locked forms. Then restart FORMS, noting any error messages.
If FORMS still fails to run, you can try deleting the first form or set.
