This setting lets you activate and control different levels of line enhancement. It applies to Ricoh 420/430 and Böwe Bell + Howell 4000/5000 scanners.

Please refer to your scanner manual for more information about image enhancement functions.

• 0 (disabled – default)
• 1 (line bolding – strengthens lines)
• 2 (edge extraction – enhances edges and lines in images)
