LogFile

Description

When you use ReadSoft Invoices, various types of log files may be created:

  • Crash dumps.
  • Database log files not decipherable to users.
  • Text-based log files created by certain application errors.
  • Text-based event logs created by event handlers which call the SetLogDevice method.
  • Log files created by the Reporter Plug-in for ReadSoft Invoices (REPORTERDataCollectionPlugin), if it is installed. The files are saved to subfolders named EHRLog-YYYY-MM-DD.
Old log files must be deleted from this location at regular intervals.

These files are saved in the location specified by LogFile.

Valid values

  • Any valid path.

Default setting: LogFile=C:\Users\Public\ReadSoft\INVOICES\Log

  • Value if missing: "" (an empty string)
