Configure the server address

To successfully run ReadSoft Mobile, you need to configure a server address that reflects the ReadSoft PROCESS DIRECTOR web service in your SAP system landscape.

Note If you only want to try out the App, on the start page, tap Demo. You are then connected to a live, running ReadSoft PROCESS DIRECTOR system.
  1. To enter the connection parameters, on the start page of the App, tap the QR code button.

    The built-in camera is activated.

    Note When used for the first time, you need to grant the App access to the camera.
  2. Use the camera to scan the QR code you received from the system administrator.
  3. On the Import page, verify that the displayed server address is valid.
  4. Tap OK.
  5. On the login page, enter the user name and password you received from the system administrator.
  6. Tap Login.

    The start page opens, displaying the Worklist. Depending on the mobile device you are using, the document overview list of the first inbox in the Worklist is also displayed.

    Note The layout and theme (colors, icons, and logo) are fixed and cannot be customized.

If you need to configure an additional server address, on the login page, tap the Gear button. Then, on the System List page, tap the QR code button, and repeat steps 2 to 4.

Manually add the server address

When you have to manually add the server address, you do not need to enter the protocol pattern. For example, instead of https://mobile.customer.com/pdweb-wsa/rest, enter mobile.customer.com/pdweb-wsa/rest (omitting the https://).

Note However, it is recommended to always use the QR code to avoid typos or other errors, which may lead to an incorrect server address being accessed.
