This activity converts Microsoft Office formats to TIFF or PDF format.
You can specify multiple conversions in a single process step. To specify a new format to convert to, click the empty row in the table and select a format in the column. (You must actively select a format, even if the desired format appears by default.)
Note: This activity must be assigned to an Activities Service in order to run.
If for some reason you need to add this activity to the Process Designer, the file to add is xboundActDocumentConversion.dll.
The following settings are available when configuring a process step of this activity type.

By default, all of the document types in the process are affected. All media with the supported formats (see ) will be converted. To exclude certain document types, click the "All supported" link to open the dialog. That dialog lists all of the document types that were created in the current process. Select . Then select the types whose media are to be converted. | |

Prevents the program from stopping when there is a conversion error. The ConvertError status field in the current document and in the root document is set to true so that the document can be rerouted due to the error, for example using a conditional process rule. The medium that was not converted gets its ConversionError field set to true, and the technical error message (ConversionErrorMessage) is added as an additional field. | |
