This system agent checks whether
unconfirmed
log messages exist, and it sends them to the specified email recipients.
These settings are available when you configure this agent:

The email address of the recipient. Only one address can be specified per subscription. If messages are to be sent to multiple recipients, make a copy of the system agent assignment and change the receiver in the copy. | |

Email address of the sender. | |
Name and port of the SMTP server. | |
User name for the SMTP connection. | |

Select whether messages are to be grouped, and if so, whether they are grouped by text or by ID. | |
When you retrieve messages in Log Explorer, you can see in the column that each type of message has an message number (ID). By specifying those IDs, you can select which types of messages to send by email, or which to exclude. | |
