When you load the Log Explorer for the first time, you must create a log view in order to display log messages.
Note: You must set up logging before any log messages can be displayed. Use the Log Explorer to view log messages that were saved to the logging database, as well as audit trail messages. Messages saved to the file system or Windows Event Log are viewed using external programs.
Then use these steps to view log message details:
Display the complete details for a log message by double-clicking the line with that message.
Click the arrow buttons to display the next or previous message in the list.
Double-click in the list to open the view, where you can view detailed information about a log message on the tab. Click to leave the view.
Display the area permanently by selecting > .
You can also select which log messages to display.
