Receive an invitation for signing

After activation, the device can receive an invitation to sign or review documents for the registered app user.

The administrator for the sender must activate the Controls the SignDoc Assistant notifications option in the SignDoc Administration Center to enable sending notifications to the app in parallel with emails.

If you receive a notification inviting you to sign or review documents, the SignDoc Assistant app processes the notification as follows:

When the SignDoc Assistant app is:

  • Opened and the notification arrives, the signing or reviewing request appears immediately in the Tasks tab. The app also alerts the user to any new notifications.
  • Closed or running in the background, the signing or reviewing request appears as an operating system notification. Tap Open for the notification to forward the information to SignDoc Assistant or open the SignDoc Assistant app.

In the event of a communication error, the task will be filled with a template description. When the connection is restored, the description will be updated upon refresh.
