Modify a workflow solution in TotalAgility Designer

This topic provides information on modifying a workflow and work type in TotalAgility Designer.

• You can modify a Quick AI Agent solution in TotalAgility Designer using the Edit in advanced mode option if you have access to the TotalAgility Designer. Once the solution is modified, you can move back to the Quick AI Agent designer using the Edit in Quick App.

  The option to move to the Quick AI Agent designer is not available if you are editing a standard process.

• You can add any node type to a Quick AI Agent in the TotalAgility Designer and save or release the process without breaking the solution. However, any unsupported nodes added via the TotalAgility Designer appear read-only with a name and type displayed in Quick AI Agent.

• You can modify a work type in the TotalAgility Designer and the updates are applied to the Quick AI Agent. When you reopen the solution in the Quick AI Agent:

  • A message appears stating "The work type associated with the process has been modified since the process was last saved, the process is automatically being updated to reflect these changes."

  • Newly added fields are automatically added to the key data and the removed fields are removed from the key data for the solution.

  • The variables added in the work type (in the TotalAgility Designer) are available in the Quick AI Agent; however, any unsupported variable types appear read-only in Quick AI Agent designer.

• Any states added in the TotalAgility Designer are available for use in Quick AI Agent; however, you must know that they exist and their correct names.

• You can add notes in the TotalAgility Designer and Quick AI Agent.

• You can create data models in the TotalAgility Designer and use them in Quick AI Agent.

• The document sets, roles, milestones, and process events are not available for use in Quick AI Agent but any of these items added via the TotalAgility Designer and configured for activities are retained when the solution is re-published.

• All items generated when the solution is published are listed within the solution associations as hyperlinks. You can open and edit these items in the TotalAgility Designer.
