Administration Console Configuration

In case you already have a license file for FPE, you do not need to buy a separate license for using Smart Forms Extender. Should you wish to use Smart Forms Extender without having a license for FPE, you need to buy a new license for it.

You can install Smart Forms Extender on a properly working eCopy ShareScan system. Before you start, it is recommended that you stop all eCopy ShareScan related services.

The Smart Forms Extender configuration process involves the following steps:

  1. Select Smart Forms Extender in the Services tab in the Administration Console, then choose a Processing Mode in Processing section.
  2. Click the Launch Template Editor button in the Parameters section and create a Template Library and form Template(s) in the Form Template Editor.
  3. Select a template library from the Template Library list in the Parameters section
  4. Optionally, adjust other settings and save the profile by clicking on the Save Current Profile button.
  5. Map the published keys from Smart Forms Extender service to any connector key.

Associating Smart Forms Extender with a connector profile

  1. Select the Connector.
  2. From the Connector, select the Smart Forms Extender in the Services window.
  3. Select the Smart Forms Extender Profile.
