Image Settings tab

Use this tab to specify an image format for your exported images.

Export Image As

Select a file format/compression format combination to use for your images. The images export and import to the Microsoft SharePoint destination. The default image type is Multiple TIFF – LZW Compression.

Image and non-image files are exported based on various combinations of selected file formats, compression formats, and non-image file support. For more information, see File format and compression format combinations.

To export Kofax PDF documents, enable Kofax PDF generation in your applicable document class and add the PDF Generator queue to your applicable batch class. Otherwise, the Kofax PDF documents are not exported.

Export OCR full text file with document (Kofax Capture only)

Select this option to export your documents with the OCR (Optical Character Recognition) full text data into Microsoft SharePoint. Note the following:

  • If this option is selected and you are not exporting an OCR full text file, export fails and the document are routed to the Kofax Capture Quality Control module.

  • If this option is not selected, the export connector ignores the OCR Full Text module (if specified) and submit the documents into SharePoint.

To create OCR full text files, in addition to selecting the "Export OCR full text file with document" option, you must also enable Kofax Capture OCR full text processing in the applicable document class and add the OCR Full Text module to the applicable batch class.
