Product documentation for Kofax Communication Server 10.5.0 is hosted online:

Once you install Kofax Communication Server, the respective help system is launched automatically when you click the Help icon for the applications.
To access the hosted documentation site, you must have an active internet connection while using Kofax Communication Server.
Offline mode
If the security policy for your organization restricts internet access, you can access the documentation in offline mode while using the Kofax Communication Server, you can download the compressed documentation files from the Kofax Fulfillment Site.
Be sure to include the compressed documentation files when you download the product files from the Kofax Fulfillment Site after purchasing Kofax Communication Server. Copy them to a location that will be accessible from the product for offline use. While using Kofax Communication Server, you can navigate to the location where the Kofax Communication Server documentation files are copied.
For each language, a separate documentation package is available to download as a compressed file, such as KofaxCommunicationServerDocumentation-10.5.0_EN.zip for English.
The .zip file includes both help and print folders. The print folder contains PDF documentation files, such as the installation guide and the administrator's guide, and the help folder contains online help files.
- From the Kofax Fulfillment Site, download the documentation .zip file for the languages you require.

Extract the contents of the compressed documentation file and navigate to the drive where you have installed
Kofax Communication Server. Do the following:

Copy the contents of the extracted Kofax Communication Server help to:
Program Files (x86)\Kofax\KCS\Capture Connector\Web\WebHelp

Copy the contents of the extracted FoIP help to:
TOPCALL\FOIP\00\web\WebHelp

Copy the contents of the extracted TC/Web help to:
TCOSS\TCWEB\Web\WebHelp

Copy the contents of the extracted TCfW help to:
Program Files (x86)\TOPCALL\WebHelp

Copy the contents of the extracted TC/Player help to:
Program Files (x86)\TOPCALL\WebHelp

Navigate to the drive where you have installed
Kofax Communication Server
and do the following:

For the Kofax Capture Connector help:

Open KccConfiguration.xml in a text editor from the location:
Program Files (x86)\Kofax\KCS\Capture Connector\Web

Locate the <OnlineHelp>1</OnlineHelp> section and replace 1 with 0.

Save and close the configuration file.

For the TC/Web help:

Open Configuration.xml in a text editor from the location:
TCOSS\TCWEB\Web

Locate the <OnlineHelp>1</OnlineHelp> section and replace 1 with 0.

Save and close the configuration file.

For the TCfW help:

Open Configuration.xml in a text editor from the location:
Program Files (x86)\TOPCALL

Locate the <OnlineHelp>1</OnlineHelp> section and replace 1 with 0.

Save and close the configuration file.

For the FoIP help:

Open Configuration.xml in a text editor from the location:
TOPCALL\FOIP\00\web

Locate the <OnlineHelp>1</OnlineHelp> section and replace 1 with 0.

Save and close the configuration file.

For the TC/Player help:

Open Configuration_TCPlayer.xml in a text editor from the location:
C:\Program Files (x86)\TOPCALL

Locate the <OnlineHelp>1</OnlineHelp> section and replace 1 with 0.

Save and close the configuration file.

If you copy the extracted help to the directory but do not update the configuration file for a specific application, clicking the Help icon will still display the online help. -
Search Kofax Communication Server documentation
This search only applies to the PDF files. For online documentation on the hosted page, use the Search box provided on the landing page.
- Download the KofaxCommunicationServerDocumentation-10.5.0_EN.zip from the Kofax Fulfillment Site and extract the zip file to a local folder.
- Open the extracted folder and then open the Print folder.

Double-click on the
All_DocumentationSearch.pdx file.
The Search screen appears.

Specify the search string in
What word or phrase would you like to search for? and click
Search.
Make sure that In the index named All_DocumentationSearch.pdx option is always selected in the setting Where would you like to search?.
All the search results are displayed in the Results list.
- Click the required item from the Results list.
