Oracle
Select this option to use an Oracle database. This option is enabled only if the Oracle .NET provider exists on the workstation, and Kofax Front Office Server has a Kofax Capture Evaluation or Kofax Front Office Server Enterprise license.
Oracle configuration
The Oracle Configuration section has the following fields.
- Host name

Enter the host name of the database server
- Port number

Enter the port number to use for communication with the database (usually 1521).
- Service name

If you want to connect to the database using the service name, select Service Name and enter the database service name. When you select Service Name the SID field becomes unavailable because only one of these identifiers can be used.
- SID

If you want to connect to the database using the SID, select SID and enter the database service name. When you select SID the Service Name field becomes unavailable because only one of these identifiers can be used.
Authentication
The Authentication section has the following fields.
- User name

Enter the user name of the database user with rights to log on to the database
- Password

Enter the password for the database user.
