Generate a Classification Benchmark for a Specific Classifier
You can generate a classification benchmark for a specific classifier. This enables you to look at each classifier and to determine the most effective settings to get the best classification results. You can generate a classification benchmark for a specific classifier by following these steps:
- Open the Documents window if it is not already open.

In the
Documents window, select your benchmark set.
If you do not have a benchmark set, convert a custom test set into a benchmark set.
Your benchmark set expands and its documents are displayed.

On the
Process tab, in the
Benchmark group, click
Classification
.
A submenu is displayed showing additional classification benchmark options.

On the
Classification submenu, select
Classification Benchmark using a
Specific Classifier
.
The Classification Benchmark window is displayed, a progress bar shows the progress of classification without hierarchical rules. When completed, the results are displayed in a Result Matrix.

Hold the mouse cursor over the cells in the
Result Matrix grid for more information.
Green indicates where the Assigned Class matches the Classification Result. Red indicates where the Assigned Class does not match the Classification Result.
Selection document set. This enables you to work with those documents to troubleshoot unclassified or incorrectly classified documents.Clicking a column loads documents from that column into the - Optionally, add one or more classification benchmark exceptions and regenerate the classification benchmark.
