The options available on the PDF Options tab are outlined below.

JPEG compression level: Select which compression level to output. The higher the compression, the better the output.

Downsampling: Select the DPI (Dots Per Inch) for the output file. The higher the DPI, the clearer the image appears. Downsampling the DPI can result in smaller file sizes.

For All Images / For images above: Select the appropriate option for your needs, whether to apply downsampling to all image or to only apply downsampling for images above the specified DPI limit.

Use MRC Format: MRC is short for Multi-Raster Content Technology, which segments images into layers and applies different compression algorithms to each layer, thus optimizing both file size and quality. Enable this option if the imported PDFs use the MRC format. For more information on storage differences with downsampling in the MRC format, see the table below:

Create linearized PDF (Fast Web View): Optimizes the output file for web view and decreases the file size.
PDF document field options
The standard PDF document fields are listed below. The user can select any system, batch, folder, or document index field to populate the desired PDF document fields inside the created PDF file.

Enable PDF custom fields: With this box selected, the Setup button is enabled. Clicking the Setup button opens a dialog box with the custom fields available. Select check boxes in the Include column to place both the Field Name of that row and its corresponding data value to the Custom tab of PDF Properties when viewing from the local file explorer. Click Save to confirm the settings.
Use the Move Up, Move Down, and Move To buttons to move the selected row up, down, or to a specified place in the list. The Move To option is useful when working with a large number of data fields.
PDF encryption
Users can set the following passwords either manually or from the selected index field:

Select Override default zoom level specified in PDF viewer to change the zoom settings:
