Editing a form

Forms specify how Verification (or Web Verification) works and what it looks like when you are verifying a specific document type. You need one "form" for each document type. Forms contain panels, which in turn contain controls.

Use the below procedure to edit a form that you previously created.

  1. Using the XBOUND Management Center, open a console containing the Validation Designer. (For information about working with consoles, see XBOUND Help.)
  2. Under Process Navigation, select a process.
  3. Click the Check out button ().

  4. Select File > Open.
  5. In the Open business rule group or form dialog, select a form to open and click OK.
  6. Select File > Settings. The Form settings dialog is displayed.

  7. Adjust the settings, which are described here.

You can add or edit a custom action (see instructions).

See also Optional adjustments when auto-generating a form.

Tip 1: Rename a panel by clicking its tab (or by clicking somewhere between the controls of the current panel) and then changing the Label property (not the Name property) in the right pane.

Tip 2: Rearrange form panels by dragging and dropping the tabs.
