Scan job description settings

Use the Scan tab of the Job description dialog to configure Scan job descriptions. To access it:

  1. Open an existing job description or create a new one.

  2. Click the Scan tab.

These settings are available:

Scanner settings

Displays the scanner settings that apply to the form definition(s) included in the job. The scanner settings cannot be changed here. Related topic: Scanner settings: Overview

Save file is selected if Export forms to image files is selected in the settings of any of the form definitions included in the job description.

Options

Opens the Scan job options dialog, where you can:

Identification

Opens the Identification dialog.

Batching

Opens the Batching dialog. Related topic: Batches: Overview

Storage

Opens a dialog where you can specify how to save scanned documents, if you are exporting form images.

Directories

Opens a dialog where you can specify where to save scanned documents or exported files.

Image filters

Opens a dialog where you can select image filters. Important: Follow these guidelines.

Default

Resets the Scan part of the job description to default settings.
