- Create empty alert batch in Quality Control on message reject
-
Select this check box to create an empty alert batch when a message cannot be imported into Kofax Capture. Right click the batch in the Batch Manager and select the Scan module in the History view to see the message ID information that you can use to locate the message in KCS.
- Handling of messages with mismatched fields
-
Configure how to handle messages when a message field is mapped to a non-existing field of a batch class (for example, when a batch class is modified). You can reject such messages or import them, optionally sending them to Quality Control.
- Handling of partially imported or incomplete messages
-
Configure how to handle the partially imported or incomplete messages. You can reject such messages or import them. You can also import and send them to Quality Control.
- Timeout for getting messages from TWS (including conversion)
-
The time starting from when the message is retrieved from the storage, converted, and transferred to KCC. This timeout only applies if the document conversion is enabled in the KCC configuration.
The default timeout is 14400 seconds, that is, four hours.
If the expected message size exceeds 50 GB, increase the timeout value to 8 hours.
- Reject message if document conversion fails
-
Select this check box to treat the document as failed. Depending on the configuration, these documents are either deleted, kept in storage for manual processing or forwarded to an operator.
- Send batch to Quality Control if document conversion fails
-
Select this check box to send the batch to Quality Control if document conversion fails.
- Import exception page if document conversion fails
-
Select this check box to import an exception page into Kofax Capture if document conversion fails. If you configured the document conversion in the KCS - Capture Connector and the document conversion fails, the original document will be imported as an e-document. In addition, if this setting is checked, a TIFF exception page is imported before the original document, indicating that the document conversion of that document has failed.
- Leave message unconfirmed
-
If selected, KCS - Capture Connector does not confirm the message in KCS on import. KCS expects the message to be confirmed from the Export or Notification module.
If this option is selected, notifications are not sent from import.
