Define Input Locators for a Subfield
You can define up to three input locators for each subfield. These input locators can be any kind of locator that returns a simple field or subfield. For example, define a standard locator, such as the Format Locator; an evaluator, such as the Relation Evaluator; or a trainable locator, such as an Amount Group Locator or Order Group Locator. The Input Locator list shows all locators that are defined above the current Advanced Evaluator.
To define evaluation steps for a subfield, select the subfield from the tab list on the left, then select one or more input locators from the Input Locator list. Next, configure evaluation steps for the subfield.
If you select a trainable locator as an input locator and the Advanced Evaluator subfield is mapped to an extraction field, the field has to be trained for extraction. Then it is displayed for training on the Edit Document window. As needed, clear the "Show in training dialog" option in the Field Properties window. This prevents the field from being displayed for training.
