Rolling file log properties

On the Logging Configuration dialog box of a rolling file log, use the following settings to edit the log configuration.

General - Name and type
Log type Displays Rolling file log as the selected log type. This property cannot be changed.
Description A brief description telling what the file is used for.
Level Determines how much information is provided:
  • 1 - Error: least amount of information (smallest file).
  • 2 - Information
  • 3 - Debug: most information (largest file).
Rolling file log > Settings
Path The path to the log file (including the name of the file).
Max file size in KB The maximum size of the file before a new file is created.
Time format The time format that is added to the file name when the file is created.
