Each scanner supported by DOCUMENTS has a one or more predefined scanning specifications that are provided by ReadSoft. These cannot be modified in any way. However, you can create your own scanning specifications as described below. These can be used to handle special scanning conditions.
Note: You must have user rights to manage scanning specifications. These rights are set in the User or User group dialog: Administration rights settings.
On the
tab of the Administration module, expand and click .In the right pane, double-click the scanner.
Select

and type a name for the scanning specification (max. 80 characters).The new scanning specification is based on the settings in the scanner's base your new scanning specification on a different one, instead:
Click the scanning specification you just created and click
.Adjusting these settings as needed:

to adjust settings for your specific scanner.Click
Now you can select the scanning specification in a production task.
