Transfer the XML document output file at the job level

You can transfer the Collector-generated output files for XML documents by changing the values of the TransferOriginalFiles and ArchiveOriginalFile flags. However, this may affect the behavior of ReadSoft Invoices for non-XML invoices.

To avoid this, you can configure the transfer of the XML document output file at the job level as follows:

  1. Set the EICCARCHIVEORIGINALFILE user-defined variable to a file path generated from XML by the Collector.

  2. Select Transfer the XML invoice(s) output file in the Job description dialog box.

By default, the Transfer the XML invoice(s) output file checkbox is not selected.

The following table shows how ReadSoft Invoices behave when a combination of TransferOriginalFiles flag in Eiglobal.ini, the ArchiveOriginalFile flag in eicc.ini, and the Transfer the XML invoice(s) output file option in the Job description dialog box are used.
