TotalAgility includes the following Capture enhancements.
Improved PDF compression
New PDF compression options produce dramatically smaller, higher-quality files. Enhanced compression helps speed up downloads/uploads for sharing, reduces storage costs, and supports compliance with the latest archival requirements. This change is available in both TotalAgility Advanced Studio and DocAI Studio.

Improved training and online learning infrastructure
Classification and extraction models no longer require full training sets at runtime. Online learning can now work even when using external datasets.
Benefits include faster model updates and improved performance in high-volume environments.
Expanded Microsoft Azure OCR support
It is possible to connect using modern OAuth authentication rather than traditional API keys to access Microsoft Azure AI Document Intelligence to recognize OCR documents.
Using Azure OCR as an alternative to OmniPage provides greater flexibility for organizations using Microsoft technologies, with improved security and easier integration into existing Azure environments.
Support for Microsoft Azure AI Document Intelligence in OCR activity
The OCR activity is enhanced with a new option to use Microsoft Azure AI Document Intelligence (either Bring Your Own Key or Tungsten-provided) or Tungsten Clarity.
Assign user permissions for Capture operations
It is possible to configure Capture operation permissions for users and groups who are responsible for scanning, validation, verification, and review of documents/folders.
A new User behavior card with the "Capture operations" link is available in the System settings, allowing users to configure capture operations for specific users or groups.

Improved extraction with Layout Model
The new "Microsoft Document Intelligence Layout Model" is integrated into the extraction pipeline services. This enhancement provides more accurate and flexible document data-extraction capabilities. The output generated by the Layout Model is stored at the page level in a JSON file and written to the text-extension field, Kofax.CEBPM.RawPageData.
