Add trace logging configuration

You can add logging settings specific to a tenant so that data can be logged for that tenant.

You can configure a logging filter for each of the following components: BPM, BPM Unity, Transformation Server, Transformation Server Performance, Transformation Configuration, Capture Data Layer, Capture Data Layer Imaging, Capture Data Layer Extensions, Capture Data Layer Logical Extensions, Capture Document services, and Reporting.

  1. On the header bar, click Trace Logging > Tenant Logging Settings.

The Trace Logging Configuration page appears.

  2. Click Add Tenant Logging Configuration.

The Add Tenant Logging Configuration dialog box appears. All tenant names in the selected data center appear in the "Tenant" list.

  3. On the Tenant list, select the tenant for which you want to configure trace logging.
  4. On the Environment list, select an environment.
  5. Under the Component Logging Level, for each component, select the required filter. By default, no filter is set for any components. Available options are:

    Filter Description
    None No filter is set.
All Captures all log messages, regardless of severity. Most verbose option.
Critical Logs only critical errors that cause the complete failure of a component or service.
Error Logs error conditions that do not cause termination but may impact functionality.
Warning Logs potential issues or abnormal conditions that do not interrupt execution.
Information Logs general system activity and high-level operational events.
Verbose Logs detailed diagnostic information, useful for in-depth troubleshooting.

Ensure at least a logging level is set. If you select any filter for BPM Unity, you must restart the System for changes to take effect.

  6. Click Save. A confirmation message appears. Click OK.

The entry is added and displayed in the table.
