Partially booked lines

When an invoice is sent for only part of a purchase order it is still possible to perform line pairing by booking part of the purchase order based on the invoiced amount.

For example, if a purchase order line covers 100 bottles of water, and you receive an invoice for 60 bottles of water, then line pairing will result in the following:

• An row in the Paired Lines table for the 60 bottles of water.

• An row in the Available Lines from Purchase Order table for the remaining 40 bottles of water so that these can be paired at a later time.
